About Our Leader




Rev. Lemuel Winfield Woodson Jr. has been preaching since acknowledging the call to minister the gospel in 2012. He was licensed to minister the gospel July 19, 2014, and ordained January 2020. He served as an Associate Pastor at Service Baptist Church in Philadelphia, PA for several years and as Executive Pastor at Connection Church Philly, for one year. Rev. Woodson is blessed to serve Kingdom Culture Christian Center as their Servant Leader, located in Norristown, PA.

Prior to preaching the gospel, Rev. Woodson served as an ordained deacon at New Central Baptist Church, Philadelphia, PA and as a trustee at Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church, Philadelphia, PA.

Rev. Woodson is a native of Philadelphia, PA. He studied percussion at Granoff School of Music, graphic design at Murrell Dobbins Vocational Technical High School, and Visual Communication at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. He studied missions at New Life Bible Institute (Norristown Campus), and is a graduate of Transfiguration Theological Seminary, where he was conferred the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Ministry.

A Distinguished Toastmaster, Triple Crown recipient and effective communicator, he continues to competently promulgate the message of our Chief Ambassador, Jesus Christ. Known for his practical and engaging teaching style, Rev. Woodson is intentional about helping others identify and understand their designed purpose and giftedness. It is equally important to him that he teach individuals how to apply Kingdom principles, set right priorities and benefit from all the applied rights and privileges inherited as an engaged citizen of the Kingdom.

Rev. Woodson continues to serve and has been affiliated with a number of area associations and foundations; Chick-fil-A Leader Academy (Program Facilitator), Director, Marketing and Business Development Chick-fil-A East Norriton, Kiwanis International, East Norriton (Founding Member), East Norriton, Norristown and Plymouth Meeting Police Departments (Community Partner), (FBIPCAAA) FBI Philadelphia Citizens Academy, Philadelphia, PA (Board Member), and Harambee Foundation (Board President)

He and Joanne are the proud parents of four adult sons, Lemuel III, Richard Thomas, Matthew Lawrence, and Joseph Isaac. They are also the proud grandparents of three very blessed, beautiful and wonderful granddaughters, JoHanna Mae, Beatrix Elise and Veronica Rose.
